
Cynthia Harrison is a community developer and entrepreneur dedicated to advancing equitable economic development and cultural investment within Charlotte’s historic neighborhoods. She is the founder of the Art Haus Cultural Venue, a community-centered project designed to foster arts, culture, and economic opportunity in the Historic Camp Greene corridor.
With a focus on neighborhood revitalization and creative placemaking, Cynthia has led initiatives that support local entrepreneurs, activate community spaces, and strengthen connections between residents and resources. In 2019, she was recognized by the City of Charlotte as a community leader for her advocacy efforts in helping bring a park to the Historic Camp Greene neighborhood, a lasting investment in the community’s quality of life.
Cynthia also serves as Vice President of the Historic Camp Greene Neighborhood Association, where she actively engages in advocacy and community planning efforts that promote sustainable and inclusive development.

Dr. Candice Cooper-Lovett is a licensed therapist, speaker, and holistic healer with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families in healing and transformation. She is the founder of A New Creation Psychotherapy Services, LLC and The Tantric MFT, LLC, where she integrates mental health, spirituality, and embodied wellness.
She holds advanced degrees from the University at Buffalo, Syracuse University, and Drexel University, and is a Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Her work focuses on trauma healing, women’s wellness, and culturally responsive care.
Dr. Cooper-Lovett is deeply committed to community empowerment and advancing healing-centered spaces that honor culture, connection, and growth.

Gloria Dukes is an experienced educator and early childhood development leader with over 30 years of service in education and program administration. She is the Owner and Executive Director of Bright Future Learning Center, Bright Future Early Learning Center, and Bright Future Enrichment Center, where she has led programs supporting early childhood education and youth enrichment since 1993.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Johnson C. Smith University. Her professional background includes roles as a teacher, program coordinator, and director across educational institutions in North Carolina and Florida, with experience in workforce training and early childhood program leadership.
A committed community leader, Gloria is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and is dedicated to supporting families, children, and educational advancement within the community.
